Studio Weekend Manager

The Studio Weekend Manager is responsible for the entire facility including the studio, lounge, boutique, two practice rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and the studio are in professional working condition.  The Studio Weekend Manager must be organized, pro-active  and detail oriented. 

Position includes:

• Prioritizing and delegating projects and details that keep the business running smoothly.

• Ordering and managing products and merchandise, some product research.

• Taking a proactive role in ensuring that all items and merchandise are stocked at all times.

• Assisting in the placement and organization of supplies in the studio.

• Keeping detailed inventory and logbooks of merchandise and supplies.

• Purchasing and delivering supplies to the studio as needed (once a week approximately).

• Ability to accept direction, and be accountable for one’s work outcomes, including following through on projects or responsibilities with a sense of ownership ability to exhibit grace under pressure and multi-tasking.

• Ability to be a team player, recognizing that the studio assistant manager’s work and outcomes affects all other members on the management team and the students.

• Enjoy working alone as well as being part of a team.

Compensation:

• Hours: Flexible 6-18 hours per week as determined.  6 month commitment required with option for renewal. Performance based advancement with possibility to grow into full-time position.

• Payment: Compensation commensurate to relevant experience. $9-14 per hour depending on level of responsibility.
