200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Whether you are interested in teaching yoga or pursuing your development as a teacher, our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program offers a rich and life enhancing experience for every participant.  This 200-hour training and study course is designed to instruct you in the fundamentals and subtleties of teaching vinyasa yoga as a system of transformation and healing, as a way of life.

The easiest way to approach any learning endeavor is through the teaching path. The teaching path allows a depth of understanding that is not attainable through the student’s path, which is a comfortable and passive way of learning. The teaching path pushes and propels aspiring teachers to go deeper, to search within, to be flexible, humble, and remain open to the unexpected.

Becoming a yoga teacher will draw on an individual's ability to be constantly aware, knowledgeable, creative, and adept to an environment that is moving and changing continuously. The training fulfills Yoga Alliance certification standards and will give you the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create a well-rounded class, discover your own unique style, and deepen your yoga practice and daily life.

The most common roadblock that future teachers have is “my yoga practice is not good enough to be a teacher”.  This couldn't be further from the truth…your ability to teach does not rely solely on the postures themselves. Wherever you are, whoever you are, you can be the yoga teacher you have always dreamed of.

Teaching yoga is not about technique, although that is important - teaching yoga is about inner transformation and exploration, and applying a clear intention and commitment to the service of others.
