What happens in a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Session?
As we struggle to keep up with the hectic pace of our busy lives, we may find ourselves longing for simplicity, inner peace, and deeper meaning, for a way to heal our bodies, our spirits, and our lives. Though at times we look for outside sources to guide us, somewhere deep inside we know that we must slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and listen to our own inner voice.
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, through a combination of classical yoga techniques and elements of contemporary body-mind psychology, encourages this deeper connection with self.
A Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy session is a one-on-one process lasting one-and-a-half hours. Through assisted yoga postures and non-directive dialogue, practitioners guide clients to experience the connection of their physical and emotional selves. Using focused breathing, this connection is held and explored, fostering release, personal growth and healing.
How It Begins…
1. We talk by phone or email to address any questions, then schedule a time and place for our session.
2. You fill out a confidential Client History Form and a Consent & Release Agreement.
3.. We meet for an initial session, which will last from 1 – 2 hours.
4. You complete a 5 – 10 minute Client Evaluation Form.
January 2010 – April 2010: no charge
April – August 2010: $50 per session*
August 2010: $100 per session*

She is currently studying and practicing Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is a facilitated self-awareness process utilizing the mind-body connection. A therapy session consists of supported yoga postures and client-directed dialogue, which may release underlying tensions, emotions, or beliefs and result in a deepened sense of self-awareness and relaxation.
