Fire Lotus

 

Fire Lotus yoga is our level 2 class and offers a more challenging and heating practice. Fire Lotus is a vigorous class for yogis familiar with vinyasa yoga and is geared toward students with yoga experience. The classes include: heating sun salutations and solar vinyasa sequences, jump-forward and back, multiple vinyasa waves (including: chatturanga, updog, downdog) arm-balances and inversions such as headstand and handstand to a vigorous vinyasa flow, challenging twists and balancing poses. Fire Lotus yoga incorporates ujjayi breathing and engaging the bandhas. Fire Lotus yoga is a faster paced class for yogis with experience.

Yoga For Beginners Workshop is a 90 minute introductory workshop held once a month to vinyasa flow yoga. The instructor will be available after class to answer questions and to suggest resources for students who want to know more.

 

 

Jump Into Fire Lotus is a 75-minute class designed to help students make the "jump through" from Lunar Lotus into Fire Lotus classes.  Perfect for those who are feeling unsure about attending a faster paced Fire Lotus yoga class or how to safely practice vinyasas: chatturanga to updog to downdog. We'll also spend time on exploring some of the advanced poses in Fire Lotus yoga classes.
